This research was conducted during my internship in Bi+ Nederlands and examined how the sense of community influences feelings of depression among the bi+ community, and whether having social support mediates this relationship. The current study examined the relationship between sense of belonging to the bi+ community and depressive symptoms among bisexual people. The analyzed sample consisted of 2070 participants who self-identified as Bi+ people, aged between 16 and 55, who completed an online survey measuring sexual-affective relationships and mental health among bisexuals.
