dc.subjectIn this thesis, a conceptual model representing interactions between the AMOC and Arctic sea ice is studied. Tipping points and cascades are identified using a fast-slow analysis, and subsequently simulated. In particular, a rate-dependent cascading tipping point is scrutinized.
