dc.description.abstract | A study about alongshore differences in dune erosion using XBeachX. Three different artificial bathymetries have been used as input into XBeach, with the alongshore outer-bar pattern varying between the three grids. The bathymetries are based on the Dutch and Gironde coast. All bathymetries are run with two storm conditions, to study the sensitivity of outer-bar dimensions and wave characteristics on alongshore variable dune erosion. | |
