The social lives of students in Utrecht have changed tremendously because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this thesis we researched what those changes are, how students experience these, deal with them and what expectations they have for the future. We used concepts such as social capital, liminality and resilience to find what student life entails in times of global pandemic and lockdowns.
