A study on the user experience of the ASReview software tool for experienced and unexperienced users.

Abstract

Systematic reviewing is a form of research to summarize the existing literature on a certain topic. Because the rate articles are getting published is increasing researchers face the risk to that the way they search for articles is to limited or that they are spending less resources than required to do a proper systematic review. Machine learning tools can save time during the process of screening trough articles. ASReview is a machine learning software tool to screen through articles more efficiently. In my thesis the experience of the users with the tool is described. The experience of the users was tested with a usability test. Overall the users were positice about the ASReview tool. Many minor issues and some more serious issues were discovered during the usability test
