The increasing penetration of Electrical Vehicles (EVs) is likely to become problematic for electricity distribution networks. In this thesis a research project is undertaken to investigate the interaction of Distribution System Operator (DSO) tariff or power curtailment strategies and EV charging strategies in a distribution network. This is done by simulating a distribution network without any central coordination between parties and adding different strategies to investigate their impact on the network.
