The number of youth that are affected by Mild Intellectual Disorder (MID) in the Netherlands has been estimated to be around 44,000. Research shows that the behavioral course of adolescents with MID is dependent on fitting behavioral training among others. That is why it is important to adjust treatment of MID-youth to their needs and preferably to feedback they can give themselves. Giving feedback in person has been suggested as a way to improve communications and treatment-satisfaction. In this study we looked at the “C-toets OBC 2.0”-questionnaire for the use of giving feedback in person and what would be the most effective way to do this. We also looked at the possibility of youth making a distinction between different parts of their treatment. This was done by asking nine professionals about their experiences with the questionnaire and the advantages and disadvantages of giving personal feedback. Multiple advantages and disadvantages were stated as expected, but there was no consensus on the ability of youth to make distinction between parts of their treatment. Additionally it was suggested that the “C-toets OBC 2.0” may not be the most suitable for personal feedback, and instead another topic-list should be designed for this goal.
