dc.description.abstract | Mark 12:35-37 is about the title 'Son of David'. In this thesis the Jewish background of the title has been investigated. Furthermore, I have explored the background and the use of Psalm 110:1 within this pericope (chapters 2 and 4). In the third chapter, the place of this pericope within the Gospel of Mark is discussed. The last chapter contains a research to the christological significance of the title 'Son of David' within the Gospel of Mark. | |
