The description of the Quark Gluon Plasma can bring extra insight into the early uni- verse and can increase understanding of the strong force in the standard model. This thesis analyzes data from PYTHIA-generated proton-proton collisions with and with- out Color Reconnection in order to ascertain whether Color Reconnection could explain some of the ?ndings attributed to the formation of a QGP in High-Energy particle col- lisions. The thesis ?nds that Color Reconnection can qualitatively achieve similar results as are found in high-energy proton collisions. This implies that there might be a different explanation than a de-con?ned state of matter for the particle behavior that is found experimentally. The mechanism behind this could be Color Reconnection.
