dc.description.abstract | This bachelor thesis researches the effectiveness of the Gacaca Courts in post-genocide Rwanda by looking at the initial goal set by the Rwandese government after the genocide took place. The analysis from a transitional justice perspective is preceded by a short description of the genocide in question, the history of the Gacaca Courts, the conflicts of the Gacaca Courts and its implementation in the country. | |
