A veterinary practice isn’t only for the care of animals, but is also a company. And most company’s try every year to heaping up the advantage. This research trying to find a relation between the amount of activities that assistants take over of the activities of the animal doctors and financial parameters. How more assistants take over activities of the animal doctors how higher the advantage. The results don’t deliver a significant correlation between the amount of activities of the assistants and the financial parameters. The financial parameters are the sales as of full time equivalent animals doctors, the sales as of full time equivalent employee and the number of transactions as of full time equivalent animals doctors. The results lets see that there are difference between the veterinary practice in the activities of the assistants. Some activities will be done most of the times by assistants in one veterinary practice and in other veterinary practice it will be done by the animal doctors. Examples of these activities are: cleaning up teeth, make an X-ray and laboratory activities as glucose concentration in blood or urine. In 79% of the investigated veterinary practice there are office managers or administration employee that take over activities of the animal doctors.
