dc.description.abstract | For years now, the effectiveness of teams is subject of research and organizational debate. This case study is focused on volunteering teams in a business context. The research explored how different factors influence the effectiveness of those volunteering teams in business context. It was concluded that influences of input and process dimensions on team effectiveness differ per team. This research encourages a continuously integrated monitoring and an ongoing conversation about team effectiveness. The integrated conditional team effectiveness steering framework constructed and explored in this research is a unique tool that can help in this quest. Next, this research stresses three
important stories for volunteering teams in a business context. In this context this research emphasizes particular interest for team cohesion, clarity of goals and roles and motivation by self-development. | |
