This thesis is an examination of the development of the (Post-)Troubles Thriller in Northern Ireland. The novels that will be discussed are Claire McGowan's The Silent Dead (2015), Stuart Neville's The Twelve (2009), Brian McGilloway's The Nameless Dead (2012) and Anthony Quinn's Disappeared (2012) in order to discover how these (post) troubles thrillers reflect on the Troubles and the current situation in Northern Ireland.
