dc.description.abstract | This thesis discusses the translation problems that arise when translating video games, and specifically the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. The thesis supplies a theoretical framework and context of the scene and supplements this with examples of translation problems in video games from all over the world. The source texts are then analysed using Nord's (1997) model. Lastly, an annotated translation of said source texts is included. | |
