dc.description.abstract | In the region close to the Dutch-German border, there is a school named Sophianum. This school is attended by quite a lot of students with a german-speaking background. This thesis describes how the teachers at Sophianum deal with this special situation. They have found a way of differentiation for these students in cooperation with a language academy in the region, and together they develop their own special exercises for these students. By having done two interviews and an analysis of that material, we want to show which possibilities there are for schools with similar situations. | |
