dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of this thesis, as will be explained in later chapters, is to look at the anisotropic flow of (composite) particles, like the phi meson, that are formed during the hadronization period directly after the creation of a Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) in order to learn more about the properties of the QGP. In order to get accurate anisotropic flow estimates for the different particle species that are detected after their
creation in heavy-ion collisions new analysis methods have been developed. The research in this thesis has contributed to the validation of these analysis methods. | |
