dc.description.abstract | It has been a while since Edwards and Anderson started investigating spin glasses through introducing random bonds in the Ising Model in 1975. The resulting Random Bond Ising Model (RBIM) has since been the focus point of much study, but it is still far from being fully understood. For my thesis, I investigated the dynamics of the RBIM when simulated using the Metropolis algorithm. | |
