dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the current thesis is to present the design and performance analysis of a versatile ellipsometer called ”The Poly-polarimeter” . Its primary purpose is for it to be a complete Mueller matrix spectropolarimeter . This extremely versatile instrument will enable us to measure complete Mueller matrices and Stokes vectors with high polarimetric efficiency and high accuracy (4x4 Mueller Matrix with non-diagonal elements ∼ 10−3 and ∼ 10−2 diagonal elements)at high speed (∼ seconds). | |
