dc.description.abstractA street-level study focusing on variation in the labour market (re-)integration of refugees in the Netherlands. Dutch activation workers use their discretion to take decision that structure and delimit refugees lives and opportunities, in which local conditions of work as well as organizational incentives set by municipalities strongly influence the decisions made by activation workers, causing overall inter-municipal differences.
