dc.description.abstract | This RMA thesis pays attention to a miscellaneous manuscript with Latin and Middle Dutch texts, among which songs in both languages. There are not very many of this type of manuscript and this one is extra special because it stems from a house of Augustinian Canons from the Chapter of Windesheim and not from a congregation of women. The most fundamental research question concerns the function of the Middle Dutch songs in the manuscript. | |
