dc.description.abstractThis thesis investigates the role of computing technology in the Dutch public administration of the 1980s by analyzing two case studies and the media responses to these cases. The cases are the Information Technology Incentive Plan (Informatica Stimuleringsplan = INSP) and the automation of the Student Grants Administration.
