dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, I explore the possibilities of methodological innovation for the sub field body history. The thesis discusses practice theory, embodiment theory, actor-network theory and praxiography. It focuses on the fruitfulness of these approaches for the history of the body, especially in relation to 'agency' and 'materiality.'
