dc.description.abstract	This research contains a comparative analysis of NGO political influence on the UNCED and the WSSD. The direct political influence of the World Rainforest Movement, Greenpeace and the World Wide Fund for Nature will be studied. The environmental NGO preordained goals and eventual results of the summits will give an insight in NGO success and failure.
