dc.description.abstract	The aim of this thesis is to find a definition of excuses and translate this definition into a logic model that shows what is needed for an excuse, which is made afterwards, to be regarded as a proper excuse. The definition is an overarching definition of concepts and restrictions on excuses found in philosophy, psychology and logics.
