dc.description.abstract | This report describes my research on a two-photon fluorescence microendoscope (3 mm outer diameter) for in vivo imaging of a 175x175 µm field of view. First I discuss two-photon fluorescence and second harmonic generation and how they can be used for imaging .I also discuss the biological relevant molecules we will image and how that is possible with spectral imaging. Then I discuss the goal of my bachelor research and I discuss the components of the set-up in detail. Thereon I present the results of both the regular benchtop set-up as the mobile set-up and I conclude with ideas for further research and a conclusion. | |
