dc.description.abstractMRI is a technique frequently used for imaging of the body. To obtain higher contrast in MRI images contrast agents are often employed that specifically label cell in vitro and in vivo. This thesis gives an overview of what research is done with the use of 19-F containing compounds as a tracer agent.
