dc.description.abstract | This thesis studies the religious syncretism of Christianity and Animism in a rural Kalanguya village in the mountains of Ifugao, Luzon, The Philippines. It highlights a pragmatic approach towards religion in everyday life and a form of functional syncretism is conceptualized. An ethnographic research with qualitative methods of data collection is at the basis of this research. | |
