dc.description.abstractThe Arab Spring has now seen every season of the year. The disturbance in the Middle East has dominated the headlines for over 14 months. What began with an uproar in Tunisia, developed into one of the largest rebellions the Middle East has ever seen. This thesis focuses on the coverage of the protests in Egypt at the end of 2011 in two newspapers: The Daily Mail and the Independent.
