dc.description.abstract | This BA thesis aims at examining the purpose of the imaginary world of Wonderland in Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass with a focus on a quest for identity, to reach an understanding of his fiction. The thesis is divided into three parts; an examination of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, a short work of fiction by my own hand entitled “The Real Deal”, and an analysis that relates my fiction to Carroll’s work. | |
