        Summary
Israel and the United States have had a special relationship for a long time. During Kennedy's presidency, this alliance became stronger and Israel and the United States have been close friends ever since. Kennedy engaged in several arms deals with Israel and increased social and economic support. For this reason, Kennedy's presidency was an important milestone in American-Israeli relations. This thesis examines Kennedy's foreign policy towards Israel and this relationship.
