dc.description.abstractThis is a comparative reception study of Dante and Shakespeare in twentieth-century literature. It is an investigation of the influence of these two poets on the works of T.S. Eliot, Virginia Woolf and Seamus Heaney. The results of the research shed new light on the notion of world literature.
