City Reformations. A Comparative Historical Analysis of the success of city reformations in sixteenth century Western Europe
MetadataShow full item record
The historiographical genre of city reformations culminated in the eighties and nineties of the last century. In the new millennium no new influential works in this genre have been published so far. This could therefore be the moment to come up with an overarching comparison on the contributions in this genre. Although many questions have not been answered yet, it would be very interesting to compare these works and find out what conclusions can be drawn from the combination of their findings. This is exactly the aim of this thesis.
