Het Opvoedbureau in Utrecht: clienttevredenheid en empowerment binnen opvoedingsondersteuning
Summary
Aim: determining features of the clients of Het Opvoedbureau (Centre for family support) in Utrecht, whether clients are satisfied with the support, and whether they feel empowered. Method: a questionnaire was constructed to examine the satisfaction and empowerment of the clients and estimation of the professionals. Results: 49 female and 4 male clients returned the questionnaire. For every client a questionnaire was completed by the professional. Demographical aspects appeared not to be connected with client satisfaction. The professionals were less satisfied about the support then the parents were. Younger clients felt more empowered. A positive correlation was found for satisfaction of the client and empowerment. The more satisfied clients were, the more empowered they felt. Conclusion: clients of Het Opvoedbureau were very satisfied with the support and they felt empowered.
