Learning Styles in Different Cultures
Summary
How much does culture influence learning styles and what does this mean for Intercultural teaching? This article describes a research that was conducted in Norway and South Africa for which secondary school pupils were asked to fill in a learning styles test. The results showed that learning styles of pupils in both countries were remarkably alike. Contrary to this, the difference between pupils and teachers was much bigger.
