dc.description.abstract | In 2006 the german scholar Helmut Tervooren published his reference book "Van der Masen tot op den Rijn", in which literature is collected from a regional point of view. According to the author, the Rhine-Maas area can be considered a so-called 'Kulturraum' and therefore deserves special attention. The aim of my thesis is to test the workability of Tervooren's book by taking profane epic literature as a test case. | |
