Decolonisation through Demonisation in E.M. Forster's A Passage to India and Salman Rushdie's Satanic Verses
Summary
This thesis provides close reading of literary texts in which narrators tell us how main characters have been severely discriminated. Because of this discrimination they have been made scapegoats in the stories and the reader can read in my thesis how these authors can give a voice to the underdogs of society.
